Pure skiing pleasure in the Hochzeiger and
Riffelsee ski areas as well as all-year-round skiing on the Pitztaler
Glacier (Pitztal Valley glacier). The instructors from the Hochzeiger Ski School will
have you and your children whizzing down the pistes in no time!
In the Pitztal Valley winter dreams come true away from the pistes
as well: Winter hiking, kilometre after kilometre of winter hiking
trails, cross country skiing on 70 km of cross-country skiing trails,
snow-shoe hiking, ice skating and Austrian
curling! Those looking
for that extra buzz can grab a pair of crampons and an ice axe and
try their hand at ice climbing on frozen waterfalls or artificial
ice towers!
Tobogganing in the Hochzeiger ski area during the
day and night-tobogganing on the 6 kilometre-long floodlit toboggan
run (Thursday
from 7.30 p.m. and 1.30 a.m.; Ascent from 7.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.) is
fun for all the family!
Après Ski in bars, cafés and pubs. Or party in cosy, traditional
Austrian mountain huts.
